Delicious oysters! Beautiful farm! The clam curry and seafood chowder were amazing too. The baked oysters had a sauce that was too sweet for my taste. We also tried the gooey duck and we liked it.

Hands down THE BEST oysters I’ve had and best atmosphere/experience. Everyone here is kind and down to earth. You’re supporting a community by coming here and although out of the way, the drive is spectacular. We had dozens of oysters, clams, escabeche, chowder and you can forget the beer! We had a quiet walk along the waters edge after dinner and a beautiful drive back to town afterward. This is our 2nd year visiting this place from Colorado. We literally plan a vacation around this. Highly recommend booking a reservation just so you don’t have to worry about arriving when it’s packed. There is also a food truck and seating area if you do arrive without reservation.

Awesome place! Good food. Spendy! 55 for 2 grilled cheese sandwiches, 2 cups of soup, a can o' beer, and a cola. Views are unsurpassed. Heated wooden TeePees are awesome for enjoying Hood Canal with lunch while staying out of the rain. Great place to stop while visiting Hood Canal!

Hama Hama is *the* spot for oysters! I love the fresh ones the best personally but they do great grilled ones too. I haven’t ventured out to the sides too much but I think the oysters are definitely the highlight. Bees can be present for folks who are wary of them. Gets busy - I’ve never done reservations but I also go right when it opens up (or avoid prime busy times). Last time I went my friend and I made it into an overnight trip exploring the area. Definitely recommend making a day trip out of it if you’re coming from Seattle/traveling to the spot.

I absolutely love this place. I started coming when it was just a few tables and had huge lines. Now with their newer setup it's very fast, efficient AND delicious. The roasted oysters in chipotle bourbon butter cannot be beat. Their store has amazing finds and all employees are so kind. I wish I could make it out here more than a couple times per year!

Wow shucking your own oysters is fun! Beautiful scenery, I saw some bald eagles flying around and you can see staff down at the water collecting more oysters. The garlic butter for the baguettes is incredible, I wish I knew how to make that at home. Can’t wait to come back!!

So far is the best shellfish restaurant in my opinion! I loved the fresh and grilled oysters, as well as the purple clams. It With our reservation, we got an A-frame shelter, which was so nice. The reservation included a dozen fresh and another dozen grilled oysters, but you can change that if you prefer. We went with our two dogs, and they really accommodated us. The service was excellent; they always checked in to make sure we were doing okay. The restaurant also has a great view and a nice atmosphere. The 2.5-hour drive from Seattle was totally worth it, and there are many other things to do in the area. Highly recommended!

Had such a great experience at Hama Hama this past weekend. Service and atmosphere was splendid and the food was so delicious. Definitely recommend getting the roasted oysters. They come in a chipotle butter sauce - don’t forget to dip the bread in the remaining butter! Grilled cheese was nicely crisped and cheesy. Would recommend adding onion jam to it. The other dishes I had were great as well. Definitely worth the trek from Seattle! The drive there was also lovely since you drive along the water. You can also take the ferry to start the journey over too.
